Create an audience

Start with a static audience so that you can review every member before a campaign launch.

Before you begin

Configure API access, create a test contact, and save its UUID as CONTACT_ID.

Create the audience

Save the returned id as AUDIENCE_ID.

Add your contact

Send your contact UUID in the contacts array:

Check membership

Expected result

Your contact appears in the audience membership response. Creating an audience does not launch a campaign.

Troubleshooting

Manual membership changes apply to static audiences. For a live audience, membership follows rules. A 404 can mean an ID is absent from the key’s organization. See Audiences API. Next: build a flow.
